Mitsubishi hollow fibre UF Ultra-Filtration membrane K7B
Storage tanks can harbour bacteria. To prevent bacteria the Morion Ireland – 100 has an advanced K-7B ‘state-of-the-art’ Mitsubishi [UF] bacteriostatic cartridge that stops impurities down to 0.1 micron (including bacteria and cysts) acting as an absolute “no back entry” ultrafiltration UF firewall.
Pristine water quality with no odour or colour or taste is an easy task for the Aquaphor scientific team. The Morion Ireland – 100 is the only RO in the world using a triple-micro-crystaline bank of silver anti-microbial, 5 micron, 3 micron, 0.8 micron (Aqualen ion-exchange) carbon block filters that lock on to heavy metals and other large ions, with a final 0.1 micron (absolute) Mitsubishi hollow fibre membrane.
Extreme compactness
The Morion Ireland – 100 has a footprint of less than half the size of a standard “skeleton” RO water filter by using a compact built-in storage tank. It can stand upright and can be positioned in other configurations (horizontal) to suit tighter spaces.

Efficient water storage tank –
The Morion Ireland – 100 has an airless storage tank with zero counter-pressure. Water is filtered from water pressures as low as 2 bar without need for 36w or 60w booster pumps that use several hours of electricity per day. The tank can fill with purified water in 30 mins at the lowest operating pressure.
Save 50% water –
Due to the efficient storage tank and valve system, the Morion Ireland – 100 retains the best ratio of waste-to-filtered water regardless of how much water is present in the water tank or the pressure of the incoming water.
For standard RO water filters, with air-on-water water tank, approximate ratio varies between 8:1 and 20:1 at 3 bar pressure. Less efficient towards the end of the tank re-fill.
Given that we often use 1 – 2 ltrs of filtered water at a time, the Morion Ireland – 100 saves you up to 50% or 9000 ltrs of water per year. Compared to standard RO systems that use 10% to 30% of overall household water use.
Save on replacement filters
The Morion Ireland – 100 filters include many world firsts in filter technology. Triple anti-bacterial silver carbon blocks. Also Aqualen ion-exchange media. With 5 micron / 3 micron / 0.8 micron and 0.1 micron ratings.
For dirt, iron, sediments or organics on some wells or rain tanks a K5 sediment cartridge and K2 carbon cartridge pre-filter arrangement can be used.
Morion Ireland – 100 water efficiency: Half the volume of water passes through the pre-filtration cartridges making them last at least twice as long as standard RO system pre-filters, saving money.
Easiest to Service and Maintain
Morion Ireland – 100 cartridges are easily replaced: – push the button; twist off the old cartridge and twist on the new cartridge until you hear a “click” (after a quarter turn).
Morion Ireland – 100 storage tanks are designed to provide easy access incase of the need for servicing / sanitising. The membrane often lasts up to over half the life of the system.
